McLean, VA (April 13, 2016) AMT — The AssociationFor Manufacturing Technology and Beijing, China the China Machine Tool and ToolBuilders' Association (CMTBA) have announced the launch of the China Chongqing InternationalMachine Tool Show (CCIMT)  to be heldNovember 13 – 16, 2017, at the Chongqing International Expo Center, Yubei,Chongqing, China.

CCIMT will showcase the latest in manufacturingtechnology and bring buyers and sellers together from all over the world to thedynamic market of Chongqing and southwest China. With an expandingmanufacturing base of domestic companies plus more than 250 Fortune 500multinationals, Chongqing has established itself as an innovation center forhigh technology.  

Chongqing’s economic growth was 11 percent in 2015,the fastest growth among 31 provinces in China. Chongqing is China’s largestautomotive producer, largest laptop computer manufacturing center and a majormotorcycle manufacturing location. More than 600 local companies specialize inmaking motorcycle and related parts with annual motorcycle engine productionexceeding 10 million units, of which about 15 percent are exported to overseasmarkets.
