The China CNC Machine Tool Fair (CCMT) was founded in Shanghai in 2000 and has been successfully held for eleven consecutive sessions. In 2020 and 2022, the two exhibitions were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After a six-year hiatus, the China CNC Machine Tool Fair 2024 (CCMT 2024) was held in April 2024, attracting significant attention from the domestic and overseas machine tool industry, upstream and downstream of industrial chain, manufacturers and end-user field. CCMT 2024 marked the first time the exhibition utilized all 17 indoor halls of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, covering a total area of 200,000 square meters, with a 66.67% increase compared to CCMT 2018. A total of 1,877 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions participated, representing a 52.23% growth over CCMT 2018. Among them, industry associations and trade promotion organizations from 12 countries and regions including Germany, Japan, Switzerland, the U.S., Spain, Korea, Italy, France, Czech, India, Chinese Taiwan region, and Chinese Hong Kong region organized pavilions to participate the fair, the event attracted 124,695 trade visitors from 88 countries and regions, a 58.49% rise from CCMT 2018.
